Anthony Travalgia: No pain, no gain for Noel Acciari as Bruins beat Lightning After requiring surgery Wednesday to repair damage suffered as a result of a puck to the face Tuesday, Noel Acciari had his best game of the season Thursday.

Pretty remarkable to come out and have such a great game so soon after surgery. Tough kid. Glad the Bruins have him. Seeing heart like that gives a boost to the entire team. Good on Acciari

Great depth signings in Johansson and Coyle. The team is so tough to play against now, no real weak spots.

Thats just another example of how hockey players are tougher than any other sport,
except maybe curling... maybe

Congrats on the win. You guys deserved it.

Lightning were gassed, but Domingue was surprisingly decent for the majority of the game. He kept the Bolts in it until the wheels came off in the third.

That Noel kid is a stud. His mouth is a world of hurt and he still played solid.

Gotta give some credit to Danton Heinen. I had written him off this year and now he's being a constant contributor on L1. That play (drawing all 3 defenders) on the Bergy goal was a thing of beauty. Also the lob pass to Marchy on his goal. Man, it's fun to be a Bruins fan right now

Honestly it's not that nuts, definitely not overly violent or dangerous apart from shins and hands. That was a weird bastardised version they were playing at Fenway if you didn't know. Not many goals in most games. I'm on a crusade to make goals 4 points as it's mostly getting to a spot and putting it over the bar for a point.
My kid plays, great sport to play and a lot of skill involved getting ball from ground to Hurley to hands and whatnot. Fun whacking it back and forth with him. No ice hockey here so next best thing.

B's looking dangerous. Here's hoping Pasternak plays with 46.and 74 when he comes back but not sure the brass sees it that way.
